It was the very first time for Leo Club of INTI International University to organize Leo workshop 2012. This event was held at 18th February 2012 in our campus. This event carried the purposes of:
- ensuring the new and continuing Leo members are fully aware and thoroughly understand the benefits, purposes, objectives and activities of Leo Programs
- motivating and cultivating strong, positive personal development
- creating new bonds and strengthening relationships between Alpha and Omega Leo clubs through participative and collective learning
At 930am, all the Leos have registered themselves and gathered in front of our university’s Lecture Theater. We had invited several Alpha Leos from various Leo Clubs to participate with us, such as Leo Club of SMK Puteri, Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama and Leo Club of SMK Dato Lokman. This event started with various creative ice breaking games in which all the Leos were divided into several group and the games were carried out to let all the Leos to get to know each other.
At 1030am, we had opening ceremony for Leo Workshop 2012. Our Leo Club president, Leo Shugan Raman had called the meeting to order and this event was witnessed by Dc Lion Foo and Lion Shashekala. Both of them were also the speakers for this event. Numerous team building games were carried out after the opening ceremony and Leos had gained a lot of meaningful lessons through the team building games. After that, we had invited Lion Foo and Lion Shashekala to give a talk on the role as key officers/ board of directors in the club and the meaning behind Leo. All the Leos were inspired by both Lion Foo and Lion Shashekala. Before the end of this event, we had prepared a surprise birthday celebration for Lion Foo as it was his Big Day! Certificates of participation had also been given to all the Leos as a token of appreciation before they left.
