Well, it is the new semester for the students in INTI IU. For every new semester, there will be an exhibition week where all the clubs in INTI IU will set up a booth in Multi Purpose Hall in order to recruit members. After the exhibition week, the clubs will normally organize gathering nights for the members to mingle around with each other.
For this semester, LEO Club of INTI IU had
organized our gathering night with the name “LEO’s Night” on 1st
February 2012. We used “World Cancer Day” as the theme for the night itself
since this meaningful day falls on 4th February every year. The main
purpose of having this theme was to create awareness among universities
students regarding the information about cancers. There are various types of cancers exist in
the world. Through this event, I had learnt more about cancers such as each
colour of the ribbons represents different types of cancers according to the following list:
Grey- Brain Cancer
Green- Kidney Cancer
Dark Blue- Colon Cancer
Yellow: Liver Cancer
Orange- Leukemia
Lavender- General cancer awareness
For this gathering night, we had prepared a
lot of activities to be done by the members such as ice breaking game, team
building games, performances and not forgetting our morale dances!

The whole event ended around 11.00pm and I
would like to thank all my organizing committees for making this event
organized successfully.
