We wanted to try out
something new that would attract INTIANS attention and give them a chance to
PARTY. Therefore, Leo Club of INTI IU had organized a Halloween Mocktail Party
in conjunction with the theme “Party with the Dead”.
It was the very first
Halloween Mocktail Party that organized by INTI IU Leo Club. It was opened for
everyone including those who were not studying in INTI IU. The aim of
organizing this event was to bring the relationships between the members and
also the committees. Besides that, it was also aimed to raise funds for our
next club event- Child Literacy.
The event started from
7.30pm until 11.00pm on the 31st of October 2011 which was the
actual date of the Halloween. There was a free flow of snacks and drinks served
to the people. Games, performances and open dance floor were prepared for them
too. Various performances were prepared to entertain the people such as singing
and magic preforming. We had awesome performances throughout the night. Our
INTI IDOL, Celist and our VP of Activities, Kelvin Lee performances made the
crowd to get into the party mood. Then, when the dance floor was open. BOOM. Most
of us started to dance to the beats played by our DJ for the Night, LEO Derrick
Ng.
The best part was that
we managed to get our INTI students to wear costumes. We had Obama, Osama,
vampires, nurses and so on. It was a successful event which brought a lot of
joy and memorable moment for everyone. We are pretty sure that this kind of
event will be organized more in the future. Hope more INTIANs will join us next
time.
