At 3.30pm, we gathered outside Multi-Purpose Hall at
INTI-IU. After a quick roll call and a short briefing of what to do, all
participants were divided a pair of gloves and one garbage bag were given to
each group. All participants of this project were divided into 2 groups. Each
group is tasked to clean a respective area. At 4.00pm, we started our cleaning job. As you can see
from the pictures above, the drains at the south entrance
and the north entrance are extremely dirty. It is full of plastic bottles, plastic bags, aluminum cans, and other rubbishes.

All participant of this event work really hard to make this
event successful. It is really great to see that these volunteers are not
afraid to use their bare hands to pick up the rubbish.
We dismissed around 6.00pm. This is the result after the
cleaning. You can see the difference comparing with the pictures taken before
the cleaning job starts. The rubbish that were found in the drains at the south
entrance and the north entrance are gone. All
cleaned up by all our awesome volunteers for this project. We manage to collect
9 garbage bags which are full of rubbish.
